It is time to celebrate our humanitarian Aquarius friends. Aquarius is the eleventh sign of the zodiac, and is represented by the “water bearer.” Aquarians represents intuition and the equal and indiscriminate pouring of benefits to society.
Aquarians seem to be very unconventional people and their concepts of life can be very different than that of most people. They are often one step ahead of the common typical thinking. They are humanitarian, liberal, creative, independent, and open minded. They often have thoughts ahead of their time that others are not ready to accept. They identify themselves as an equal member of society and all they want is to make the world a better place for all.
Aquarians work hard to make sure human rights are equally spread to all members of society. They know that to evolve as an individual, they need to connect with the collective group. The Aquarius man is charismatic, smart, and always concerned about completing goals to achieve success. The Aquarius woman is a bit hard to be classified. They are quite unconventional, revolutionary, and love to be involved in all kind of projects. Both can be considered agents of change.
Aquarians will succeed in almost everything they do and tend to focus much of their energy in politics, the environment, scientific research, philosophy, and economics. They don’t like to be static and they are always looking for new horizons to navigate. They don’t feel whole until they know that freedom has been granted and they can express themselves as who they truly are.
Aquarius is the last of the Air signs. The Air element is linked to the faculties of the mind. Some say their Air is crystal clear and they are very honest people. On the down side, they can also be very stubborn at times, individualistic, idealistic, and resistant to change. Rebellious or reformer behaviors are not uncommon.
Aquarius is ruled by the planets Saturn and Uranus. These planets are quite different from each other, but in Aquarius, they express their energy in a balanced and not very opposed manner. From Saturn, Aquarius understands the importance of the rules and the structure that maintain a stable and functional society. From Uranus, Aquarius acts as an innovator and agent of change.
Aquarians may appear either reserved or warmhearted and welcoming. They may not talk a lot, but they seem to have lots of friends. They know a lot of people, although a lot of times they prefer to keep to themselves, and only connect intimately when they feel safe, in harmony, and with the ones that share their vision of the world. In a romantic relationship, they fall deeply in love. They are not overly passionate but are fiercely honest. They are not willing to sacrifice their freedom and will always make sure that autonomy and flexibility persist in the commitment, and will always seek a fair distribution of responsibilities.
There are many amazing Aquarians out there. Some of them include actor Christian Bale, American painter and illustrator Norman Rockwell, Enzo Ferrari, U.S Vice President Dick Cheney, Children’s activist Mariska Hargitay, anti-war activist Yoko Ono, Charles Dickens, Galileo, Ellen DeGeneres, Virginia Woolf, and President Abraham Lincoln.
